It's very important to match the riders ability with the right horse. Each horse
has something different they teach a rider. We currently have 10 horses
available for lessons, a good selection, with lots of chances for a good match.

For Safety and Insurance reasons all minors must wear a helmet,
ours or yours, whenever they are riding! Helmets for adults
available but not required.

Learn basic control, right left,
back, and forward. Learn the
different gaits; walk, trot, jog,
canter, lope and gallop, plus
the differences between
them. Classes in ground work
and natural horsemanship

Not all our lessons are taught in an arena setting and most often you
can find us cruising the trails around the forest reserve. It certainly
doesn't mean that your learning less just that there is a longer straight
line, no fences to crash into, and much better scenery!

It really doesn't matter if you are 5 or 75 its never too late
to spend time riding. There is just really no way to explain
