With 35+ years of horse experience much of it as a Trainer, and
instructor, Sharon has trained Mustangs in Lakeside, CA; spent
time at Prescott Downs and Del Mar; and ridden and taught
jumpers and eventers in Oregon and California. After 10 years
as an electrician and construction consultant, She's very glad to
be settling down to spend most of her time as a trail guide.
"I'm enjoying the students and love to watch the children and
young horses grow and enjoy life and each other."
"As Gentle as possible, but as firm as necessary"

April Polites
"Talk to me about Assisted riding"
|
April has been in Hawaii more than 20 years now, "Thank god!". Raised in horse country N.J. Where she started
working in a Hunter/Jumper lesson stable at 16. Now handicapped, April spends just as much time on a horse and
has refined her riding to allow her to continue her favorite sport. April spent 20 years as an RN and is available for
trail rides with special needs riders. Aprils riding partners Logan & Clinton have been trained with special needs
in mind.
"April passed away from cardiac arrest due to complications from Pneumonia on thanksgiving day 2010" We miss you!

As I have yet to get an approved picture...don't tell her you saw her here. ;)
raised in Florida, Although she has ridden english, Kris' passion is fast It's
great to have her on the ranch team.
As a long time student and our most reliable summer camper, Chance is my
youngest ever to qualify as a trail guide. He knows every horse, and has
ridden most of them. Very familiar with all the trails, wont hesitate to tell you
all the rules or where the trail challenges are and how to avoid them. Chance
saddles and bridles his own horse and will give the adults a hand as well. I
think one of these days he will make a crack horseman and a patient teacher.
I think we created a monster...Chewy is just the type of guy we breed
horses for. He has taken to riding like a Hawaiian to Poke, He just wants
more! Able to ride most of the horses at the ranch, he's been filling in
when Kristina and Sharon are unavailable. Chewy's been keeping all the
trucks and trailers in operating condition..no matter how badly we girls
destroy them. A real asset to the team.
Long time experienced hand we keep horses big enough for sky to ride again. A big
help around the ranch and the best fence guy a gal could wish for. Sky will make
branding day a snap, he can hang on to anything! Sky is also an experienced heavy
equipment mechanic, we are currently looking for some new toys for him to play with.
