This is our buddy AL. We
can't say thanks enough to CB
Horse rescue for giving this
fellow a second chance. At
well over 20 he still has a lot of
get up and go left. He's finally
starting to fill in a bit and look
like a horse. Al is often found
at our "Sunday pony rides" or
giving rides for birthday
parties and fairs. You'll see
pictures at the bottom of the
page that show Al's poor
condition and broken jaw.
Al was pretty excited when he
replaced another horse at the
last minute for the Merry
Monarch parade. Sheila was
worried he was going to run
off with her at first, but he
settled in quickly and they had
a great time!

machinery that he was ridden in before, I'm
sure Allii is used to a much stronger bit. I was
still concerned about his healing jaw and
chose a simple snaffle for him. He and Sheila
got it all worked out.
