Merry Monarch 2011
Waikoloa
Nightingales
Am I really behind in updates!  Donkeys have become a much bigger piece of VPR than I ever
thought they would be.  We started out thinking to simply give some pasture space to some animals
in desperate need of a home.  Now we have trained pack animals, are training driving teams, having
new little ones arrive, have a couple of donkeys set aside for saddle training (when I can find a few
minutes to work on projects for myself) and we are halter training as many donkeys as we can
possibly make room for in order for them to have homes with less experienced equine people.

Whew.... Please Read on for more information as it becomes available

Bert is a mature, handsome fellow. He is even
tempered, curious, friendly and is available WITH
registration papers. Bert is Halter broke,
approachable, and has had all 4 feet trimmed.
** Now With Registration Papers **
The American Donkey and Mule Society has made it possible to register ALL the Waikoloa
nightingales. Donkeys adopted thru CB Horse Rescue will have the prefix- Nightingales on
without any genetic history. Registration papers help owners with proof of ownership in
case of loss or theft and make relocation easier for anyone finding they will be moving to
outer islands or the mainland. Micro-chips are also now available and the number may be
permanently recorded on their registration papers. Anyone who already has a Nightingales
in his/her possession please feel free to call us and we will be happy to help you get your
donkey properly registered and/or chipped.
