AQHA reg "Bucks Maddy" was purchased by
Sharon in December of 2005 from the
"famous" Double Dollar Livestock action in
Los Vegas, Nevada. Maddy was on
consignment from Rocking W Quarter Horses
in Montana. Maddy had a rather eventful trip
to Hawaii with 35' hurricane seas. She came
through the trip in good order, but is just not
a beginner type horse. She is shy around new
people. She really wants one person she can
see regularly so she knows what is expected
of her. Maddy is a wonderfully sensitive
horse and is Very quick. She rides with a soft
hand and light legs, any rough pressure will
have you doing some beautiful 360^ spins!
She is not spooky under saddle, but tends to
be a bit fearful when you handle her from the
ground. All-in-all she is a great guide horse
for our trail program but needs more
consistency than she gets in our lesson and
kids program. She is reluctantly offered for
sale to an approved home.
